AZPlayball, a PONY Baseball league, founded by Jim Teeter, has been serving the valley’s youth since 1995.

We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that upholds the PONY values through promoting teamwork, positive character building, good sportsmanship and friendly competition in all aspects of the game, all while developing the fundamental skills of baseball.

PONY Baseball is a national chartering organization established in 1951. The acronym “PONY” stands for PROTECT OUR NATIONS’ YOUTH. AZPlayball is chartered by PONY baseball and has been serving the Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix Area continuously since 1996.

We are dedicated to providing the finest youth baseball program available.

Our goal is to provide competitive, developmental baseball programs and to impart the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play to the children of the community, so they may someday use these values in becoming good citizens.

We do this by providing a positive and safe environment for local children ages 8-19 in Scottsdale and the Greater Phoenix Area. We are also working to expand our age groups all the way down to age 3. Our goal is to provide a memorable experience and establish a culture in which every player, member, coach, and business partner can work together to achieve this objective both on and off of the playing field.
